I know nobody gives a shit where I come from, but I want to write about my life in games, gaming, blah blah. And if nobody reads this..

Introduction-History Okay let's start off at the beginning; me, i'm a console baby. Arcade generation, I grew up with a Family Computer, an Atari and then Playstation.

As a toddler I played Bomber Man, Keystone Kapers, Pacman and that one game where you walk for forever, jumping across gaps, dodging birds and crocodiles from morning to midnight just to get home. (I can never remember the name).

Playstation; Original and PS1
Since the family computer eventually died down and we only ever had 3 Gameboy games, I had always been a Playstation baby.



My first PS game was Crash Bandicoot; my uncle introduced me. He even had a video of me glued to the TV with my butt getting pulled up on-que whenever I dodged and jumped with my oh-so-cute polar bear. 

Fucking nitros and totem poles.

We eventually bought games like Forty Winks, Abe's Odyssey, Lost World: Jurassic Park and Tekken. I also threw up playing some specific games. Light/motion sensitivity shiz... I kept playing anyway, I was 9. It was Spyro, Medal of Honor and Tomb Raider (it was the rolling that did it, and it was my fault).



^ By far the highest reso I found on Youtube and also the longest gameplay too. Watching it just sends me melting in nostalgia.

Playstation 2: Invested Gaming
In my elementary days I discovered an annoying japanese Metal Gear, Tekken (which I emotionally invested in the most), Silent Hill, Resident Evil and yes, I even played Dance, Dance Revolution and tried to combo any damned thing with Busuzima (Bloody Roar) using a dance pad...... we all tried that.

I never, however, hit the dance pad in public. My moves are private and secret, like my charming personality....... do you regret reading this post yet?

In highschool my brother and I delved into NBA. For some reason I was also allowed to play a fuckton of WWE despite the fact I couldn't play anything horror or "demonic" (they said Silent Hill/ Resident Evil/ Obscure is too bloody for a lady).



I snuck them in anyways, I looooved the puzzles and Nemesis fucking gave me a heart attack, so I guess he will forever be in my heart...? But then.. my heart got truly stolen by Kingdom Hearts.



Mum would yell at me for repeatedly singing Utada's Sanctuary..... I mean... T_T how could you not fall in love with this!!! 



Oh, and don't even get me started about Harvest Moon. Yeah... I lost sleep playing Harvest-fucking-moon because I wanted a goddamn ostrich and I needed to befriend all the sprites and the Harvest goddess or I will die of failure.



Another game that left me heartbroken was Shadow of the Colossus. I had never been so analytical or strategic, in playing, in my entire life. Nor had I ever loved a horse since Artax from the Neverending Story.



I waited years for the developers to make another game with similar "soul". They released The Guardian in PS4 after ages and ages of anticipation (on my part).

Nintendo Wii: More Physical than Virtual
Sometime in college we got a Nintendo Wii. And lord, did we get ripped that day. We got the usual 18-in-1 game cd that comes with it and Wii Fitness, of all things, imagine the sweat we generated in just 20 minutes.



I remember "skiing" and how my thigh muscles rendered me disabled afterwards. I'm not sure why but for the first time we didn't get the new PS that time, PS3. Maybe we had much fun with the Wii, or maybe brother was just too busy already so another console didn't feel attractive anymore. I still played with my friends, when getting together. No adventure or RPGs though... just mostly Arcade and Co-ops. 

Playstation 3: A lot of FPS and Co-op
If I liked a PS3 game so much I'd watch a friend play his...because I was a loser and didn't have my own PS3... T_T ...kidding aside, an example of those is BioShock, .
I did eventually get my own PS3, mostly played Resident Evil, Borderlands, Tomb Raider and zombie-themed shit. 

I only joined the PC race in 2016, when I finally got my own rig; mostly because I needed it for work, it was 2nd hand by the way. Before that, my friends and I would go to a computer shop to play Left4Dead, SpecialForce, Crossfire and Star Craft. I'd play some MMORPGS on my laptop; Aika and Prius. I didn't explore beyond what my friends and I played together.

I never made online friends back then, I honestly didn't know you could.

Enter Overwatch.
First game that was intentionally bought and installed on my first ever PC. Most of my favorite games are FPS on Playstation (my husband and I played through the Borderlands Series so much we'd fall asleep in game).



Naturally, Overwatch was comfortable and attractive to me on PC. I fell in love with the lore and the diversity of heroes. I mean, space monkey? come on!


This is the first game where I first ever made friends online. With the availability of voice chat in-game I was able to connect with people from different countries, and of course from the same country as me. Some of them I went on to play other games with, other became real-life friends, one of which I consider a best friend now! You know youuuuus, haha!
